Rocky Mountain Chapter
Welcome to the home page of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. We are the local chapter that offers hope, education and support to the families of Colorado and New Mexico who suffer with Huntington’s disease. It is our mission to help improve the lives of people with Huntington’s disease and their families. We also provide information and help to the medical professionals who treat our families. We offer several support groups and education events throughtout Colorado and New Mexico.
In order to accomplish our mission, we hold several fund raisers throughout the year and invite all our families to take part in them. We offer in-service educational classes for nursing homes. We maintain a help-line phone for our families through our Chapter social worker. We provide educational material from our National organization. We support the many clinical trials that take place at our Center of Excellence.
