Jang-Ho Cha, MD PhD is a neurologist and neuroscientist who has extensive experience with neurodegenerative disease, including Huntington's disease, Memory Disorders and Movement Disorders.He was Associate Professor of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, studying the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative disease. At Harvard Medical School, he was co-director of the Neurobiology of Disease course. In 2010, Dr. Cha was the recipient of the Huntington's Disease Society of America's Research Award. Since 2010, Dr. Cha has at Merck, where he is currently Senior Principal Scientist in Clinical Research at Merck, developing novel symptomatic therapies for Alzheimer’s disease. A member of the HDSA National Board of Trustees, Dr. Cha currently serves as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board.
