Welcome
We in the Orange County Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America are on a mission to end one of life’s cruelest illnesses.
Huntington's disease is a genetically caused brain disorder that systematically robs people of their ability to walk, talk, eat, and think. Eventually, people with Huntington's become totally dependent up on others. There is no effective treatment or cure.
We offer hope. The Orange County Chapter supports affected individuals and their families, raises public awareness, and funds research towards a cure. On this website you can learn about our challenges and goals, upcoming events, fundraising opportunities, and soon we’ll include some the stories of people’s brave struggles against the disease and dedicated researchers’ quest for scientific advances.
We invite you to join the many caring companies, individual donors, and volunteers who have made a difference in people’s lives. With your help we can end Huntington’s Disease forever.
