The Huntington's Disease Society of America, Greater Los Angeles Chapter (HDSA/LA) is an all volunteer organization. With the sole exception of our professional social worker, all of our activities and events are planned, managed and staffed by community volunteers. So, if we are to continue to improve the services available to HD-affected families throughout our service area, we must continue to grow the volunteer base. HDSA/LA needs new volunteers, new ideas, new energy to grow. In other words - HDSA/LA NEEDS YOU!

We could use a Fund Development Chairperson that would be responsible for working with chapter staff to develop and implement the Chapter Development Plan each year.  This person will also monitor chapter fundraising and work closely with the staff and treasurer.  Contact Steve Seekins (818) 526-7753

Each year, your Greater Los Angeles Chapter provides you an opportunity to meet your elected volunteer board members. This membership meeting familiarizes you with the latest happenings in HD research from the UCLA Center of Excellence. It also gives you a chance to mingle with your board members. You can get all the information you need for the upcoming year. This meeting is for you to converse with folks who are connected to current happenings with Huntington's Disease. We are readily available to answer any questions you may have. Come and join our family.

Your Greater Los Angeles Chapter is comprised of committed volunteers who believe in contributing to a cure. We invite you to become a part of this opportunity. Together you and people you know have the time, ideas and spirit to help accomplish our chapter visions. If you are wiling to join our mission...
