Advocates Meet with Congressman Rohrbacher

Ted, Carla and Emily Krull meet with Congressman Dana Rohrbacher (from left).
(August 5, 2009) -- California advocates Ted and Carla Krull and their daughter Emily met with their Congressman, Dana Rohrbacher, today to discuss Huntington's Disease. The family shared their personal story of living with Juvenile Huntington's Disease and urged the Congressman to cosponsor HR 678. This bill in Congress would make it easier for people affected by HD to receive Social Security and Medicare benefits. According to the Krulls, the meeting was very productive and the Congressman said he would "most likely" sign onto the bill.
