Nursing Home Check List
Are you considering placing a loved one in a nursing home? If so, feel free to use this Nursing Home Check List.
Do you receive Medicaid from the State of Illinois? There are two VERY IMPORTANT changes you need to know about:
1. Keep an eye on your mail for an envelope that asks you to verify your Medicaid eligibility. You will have only TEN DAYS to respond.
2. HFS is changing its Medicaid card process. Instead of having a new card every month, you will get ONE CARD FOR A WHOLE YEAR. So you will need to watch for this new card and keep it.
