HDSA Marathoners Conquer New York,
Raising Runds and Awareness of HD

On November 6th five runners from Indiana, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Audra McNear (pictured above), Rebecca Richards, Laura Sadler, Rich Shaffer and Darryl Tannenbaum, stepped to the starting line to run the 2011 New York Marathon to raise awareness about HD and funds to support the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
All five proudly finished the marathon and collectively raised $15,000 to support HDSA’s programs and services to improve the lives of people with HD and their families.
HDSA congratulates Audra McNear, Rebecca Richards, Laura Sadler, Rich Shaffer and Darryl Tannenbaum on their accomplishment and thanks them for all of their efforts on behalf of the people with Huntington’s disease and HDSA.
