To help increase the number of medical professionals who are trained to work with people with Huntington's disease, HDSA has created a series of 10 Continuing Medical Education Modules on aspects of HD: These CME modules are free. If you know a physician who would be interested in learning more about HD please ask them to visit: www.hdsa.org/hd-101.html to sign up for the initial viewings of the series. Once the series has been completed it will be available on-line. HDSA collaborated with WEMOVE.org as the accrediting organization.

WE MOVE & the Huntington's Disease Society of America Present "HD 101: Understanding and Treating Huntington's Disease"
WE MOVE and the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) are pleased to announce a series of 10 online educational activities (webinars) designed to assist physicians in understanding and treating Huntington's disease.
Activities will take place the evenings of July 26th, August 2nd, August 9th, August 16th, August 23rd and August 30th and will include didactic presentations plus live question and answer sessions. All activities will be archived on the HDSA website and available for CME credit after the live events. These web-based CME activities are designed to offer expert knowledge about Huntington's disease (HD) to primary care providers and family practitioners who provide care to people with HD at the local level. They also target neurologists and psychiatrists who are not familiar with HD. The activities will address the natural history of the disease, genetics of HD, the psychiatric, neuropsychological and motor symptoms of the disease with treatment options, Juvenile onset HD, assembling a team based care team, research and clinical trials for people with HD and documenting disability for a person with HD.
