This was my mom's last birthday party at the nursing home. Her name was Jane she passed this past June 23, 2011. One of many faces with HD, for you see also in this picture is myself, Shirl , I just found out I have HD, Also in this picture is my daughter Whitney whom I pray everyday she does not have this horrific disease or at least soon there is a cure. My grandmother Reta died of this disease when I was 5. Her mom had the same disease as well as her sister. My Mom had a smile from ear to ear, she had grace, she absolutely enjoyed life, she was my best friend. The hard part of this disease is it wipes out families. I pray everyday for a cure.
